2008 – the first big event.

Well, here we are just days away from the first big Apple event for 2008. My RSS feeds are going into overdrive with rumours, predictions and all sorts of associated hype – and I read every single one of them.

I’m not going to attempt to predict what might be unveiled during the Keynote – I’ll wait and be surprised, but I wouldn’t say no to an announcement of a new iPhone software update. The Keynote starts at 5pm UK time, so it’ll all be over by the time I get home from work. Then again, I can check out the live blogging sites on my iPhone on the way home.

I still haven’t bought my new iMac yet – I was toying with the idea of getting a MacBook Pro instead – but then decided to just wait to see what MacWorld brings. I definitely want something with a larger screen for use at home.
